Tom Wolf has been both Project Manager and Paint Station Manager for SKY ART since 2010, including work in Japan and Mexico. During this period, he also worked as a Park Ranger at Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado.
Tom’s first SKY ART project was for the Scantibodies Laboratory in Mexico, where he helped with seven separate sky ceilings while living for a month in Tecate. The two Japan projects in private residences that followed entailed four trips to Japan. These fed into his interest in gardening and landscape architecture, as he is the author of the Biography of Arthur Carhart, the first Forest Service landscape architect (University of Colorado Press, 2008).
Dr. Wolf is the author of five books and many articles, mostly about natural resource conservation. For these works, he drew on his Master’s degree in Forest Ecology from Colorado State University.
Tom also has a Ph.D. in English & American Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. He has taught at Brandeis University in Massachusetts, Colorado College, and Colorado State University.
